It Is Baseball Time!!!

It is time for Baseball! One of my favorite sports to photograph!

This year, I have expanded the sports scene in the studio with a new, awesome backdrop for my baseball teams. I am so excited to use it. It has such a tough look! I am also looking forward to photographing my niece Katie on it, as she is a devoted softball player for the Scott Skyhawks.

I am offering a fundraiser package to all leagues and schools for baseball. Call me today for information and to book your time (usually a weekend slot) to get your team photographed. At the end of the session, your team walks away with a NICE donation - as well as studio quality photographs! I also take time to special edit all group photographs, making it possible to incorporate field photographs, special logos, names, art, etc. I always try to go above and beyond to provide teams with a higher level of sport photography than the norm.

I also do action shot photographs. We set up a booth at your event, shoot all teams in action (as well as special moments), special edit those and bring them back to your event ready the next day. It is a great attraction and parents love it. We had so much fun during the All Star Tournaments last year. You cannot help but get involved in the games - sometimes you even get a broken lens! Let's hope that does not happen again for 2011!

I have posted a sample of the backdrop below, as well as a few action shots & edits from last year. I enjoyed it so much and cannot wait to meet the new 2011 teams, coaches & parents!

Take me out to the ballgame!

Sincerely,

Scott High Winter Formal

The Scott High Winter formal was a favorite event of mine this year. The students get their photographs tomorrow and I have already had so many friend requests & facebook comments about them already! I am so happy the students love them.

I am very proud of my niece & nephew (Nick & Katie Marcum) that attend Scott High School, so it was extra special & fun for me.

Renee & I traveled to Scott High School and met some of the prettiest & most handsome kids I have seen. Everyone was dressed so pretty & unique. I had so many favorites. So much so, I made a special keepsake edit for each student, including an extra one so each student photographed could have one!

A special thanks to Beverly Hager for all of her help! I also had the pleasure of doing Mrs. Hager's daughter, Lesli's, senior photographs which was one of my most special and memorable senior sessions. I might also add, her son's Southern WV Community & Technical College Nursing Graduation photographs & invites. She is one proud mommy!

Below is a few shots of the Winter Formal, including my nephew & date Tiffany.

Thanks guys & girls, hope to see you next year!

Sherman High Basketball

Sherman High School is one of the most friendly & welcoming High Schools around. My husband is a 1989 graduate from there, and although I am a fellow Skyhawk (and devoted Wildcat fan), Sherman High School is one of my favorite places to go for photographs.

This past week, Renee and I traveled to Seth to photograph the Boys & Girls Basketball, Cheerleaders and Golf team. It was so much fun, because I feel like I know all of the students and teachers. Plus, it is always nice to get my ribs in with Randy Herron! Got to love that man!

A special thank you to the coaches, especially Terri Williams. I hope to see you guys again soon for the Spring Sports session! Roll Tide!

Rebecca & Chris Engagement

Well, I finally had the chance to photograph my best friend, Rebecca Burns with her soon to be husband, Chris Deskins. I feel like I have been waiting for this day as long as she has.

This is the first of two sessions with them. I can't wait to do the next one.....big ideas in store!

I am honored to be Rebecca's Maid of Honor on October 22nd, 2011. Hopefully we will both still be sane by then! Congrats, and I love you both!
